As part of our efforts to ensure a high level of communication and reporting of student progress, Sawyers Valley Primary School will be conducting Parent-Teacher Interviews.
On Thursday 7th April all students will be dismissed from school at 11.00am and the remainder of the school day until 5pm will be dedicated to parent/teacher meetings (in some cases you may be asked to bring your child along to this meeting). Each meeting will be allocated 10 minutes (15 mins for Pre-Primary) and parents are encouraged to take this opportunity to receive a verbal progress report on their child. If you are unable to make it on this day, please complete the bottom of the form and return to your child’s teacher so that an alternative meeting can be arranged.
A strict schedule will need to be adhered to in order to make time for all parents. Each meeting will be for ten minutes and must start on time. If you are late, your meeting must still end at the scheduled time. The time allocated to you will be published in a note that you will receive prior to Thursday 1st April.
Booking is done by going to www.ptcfast.com/schools/Sawyers_Valley_Primary_School and selecting the teacher or teachers that you wish to have interviews with and then follow the instructions. If you do not have internet access, please come and see us at the front office and we will be happy to make bookings for you.
If you are unable to care for your child from 11.00am they will be kept at school and supervised until the end of the school day – 2:30pm. Please advise us in writing or by completing the form at
https://www.sawyersvalleyps.wa.edu.au/parent-interviews-supervision if you require supervision for your child.
Should you have any questions please contact your child’s teacher or a member of the admin team.
We look forward to seeing you on April 7th.
