Red Cross Pillowcase Project
A huge thank you to Clare and Colin from the Red Cross who visited on Thursday, June 9 to teach the Room 7 students about The Pillowcase Project. The project teaches children to prepare for emergencies by encouraging them to think about what emergencies might affect them and how; helps them prepare how to act in an emergency and think about the things they might need to pack (into their pillowcase) if they are evacuated during an emergency. The children decorated their pillowcases (sponsored by Disney) to remind the of the really important things they need to pack.
