Well what an exciting week it has been in Room 3! We have been revising and consolidating our sounds and we have covered S,A,T,P,I,N,C,K,E,H,R,M and D. This week we used our sounds to help us with our writing. The children did some amazing writing in their diaries many children were confident and happy to have a go at writing but others were a little reluctant to try to write by themselves at the moment but I’m sure with time we will all be happy writers!
In maths this week we have been practising writing our numbers and looking at number patterns while revising odd and even numbers. We have also done some addition with 6 and 10 number dice.
Our focus in computer lesson this week was starting up and and logging in to the computers and shutting them down. This was quite tricky but we all made it in the end. It may be something to try at home though as many children think a computer can be turned on by moving the mouse!
We have been learning about the history of our school and the things that were the same and different from when the school first opened to today. We have continued to practise S.P.I.T. in health and we presented this to the assembly on Friday!
