Our Sawyers Valley community really came together today to celebrate Book Week! The theme of ‘Book an Adventure’ was most apparent with the range of favourite book characters represented at the parade this morning. So much creativity and effort by our students and their families was on display. Our fabulous staff were right in the spirit of things too with their wonderful costumes. The children also worked with other classrooms on literature-based activities throughout the day. We concluded our day with an entertaining performance of ‘Treasure Hunt’ a musical written by Craig Christie. This was performed by two dynamic Perform Education actors and the children even participated in parts with the dance they have been practising in the lead up to the show.
